Uhhh (tap! tap!) this mic on?
Good tidings to all and all of that stuff. Hope you’ve been well or at least trying to be so.
This will no doubt prove to be an interesting year.
Changes coming to the station very soon.
Stay tuned okay?
In the meantime, don’t be shy checking out the sets that are currently streaming.
Some have noticed that there are not a lot of shows listed on the station’s calendar.
That does in no way mean there is nothing on in fact, there is even more music playing.
So, no it simply means that the format is extremely varied and no matter when you tune in you will hear something quite tasty!
New lineups and new shows are on the drawing board and in the meantime DJ will be continue creating the mix sets you know and love.
There just will be no warnings.
Lot’s of madness in the news (surprise).
But that’s seems to be the way of the world these days.
Just don’t you go mad on this ball of confusion (Temptations, great group).
Remember to remember to consider the source and where they are coming from when you hear it.
For those who love Jazz and don’t hear enough on the radio…
Check out Ronnie Foster‘s “Mystic Brew” off of his “The Two Headed Freap” and tell me what group used it and for what song….
The winner will get something.
Naturally it is playing on the station and it is part of a set of some good cuts. Another example is Ramsey Lewis‘ remake of one of his most famous songs “Sun Goddess”. It’s in there as is also music by Harvey Mason and cast of others. This set is huge and you will enjoy tuning in. As always the stream is produced so that even those with slower low bandwidth connects will hear a quality broadcast.
Remember this station survives only with your continued support.
Pass the word on to:
those who don’t know about WBPM NetRADIO
those who would prefer to listen to the station without commercial interruptions (definiteyly sign up for a VIP account)
those who like a variety of music by a variety of artists
those who are tired of hearing same songs hour after hour (after hour).
Make sure you drop them a hint. It’s the right thing to do and they will look at you with “new eyes”!
Ok
Gotta go, things to flow – y’know?
Peace,
DJ
