I know I left someone out… it always happens… know that I thank you too!
There are years of articles and posts within this site. Feel free to check them out. Some topical and some not.
I want to thank all of the artists who took the time out of their busy lives to respond to my attempts to reach out to them. I want to thank in particular Joyce Sims and Chris Jasper for allowing me the opportunity of playing their new releases when they came out. I’m proud that we’ve even had the opportunity to create artwork for their projects too!
I want to thank Shawn, one of the best ears in the business, for helping me track down some of the best music I’ve ever heard. I want to thank Wardell for opening up his world of music to me and then spending time putting together sets so I can share that world with you. Not everyone can hear what you feel. I want to thank Daizee her enthusiasm for the sound. It helped when I needed it most.
I certainly want to thank the thousands of humans across this planet spending tens of thousands of hours checking out the music and the mixes I was able to create with the help of these many artists. I want to thank whomever that is wearing the Official WBPM NetRADIO shirt over in Japan. I’m still amazed that there’ve been times when people of opposing factions, religions and groups were listening to the same music at the same time while others in their groups were blowing each other up. Go figure.
I’ve always felt that if we do not support our musicians then we are willfully allowing ourselves to die a silent death.
Please continue to support those who are in support of you and your sounds.
I will always do the same.
Thanks to all of you who’ve supported what I was trying to do.
So there ya have it… 11 years and some odd months of non-stop music streaming from WBPM NetRADIO. What’s next? Ohhhh… I gots plans. We ain’t finished yet!
Peace,
“DJ Whatshisname?”
Kinda dramatic huh? LOL!!
