Yo EGYPT!!!!!
Things done went buck wild up in there for a minute -hey!!?!! Go head. Do what you do. Old dude been up in it way too long. Time flied while he was having fun no? All of y’all get together and save one of the greatest lights of humanity okay? Because that’s what #Egypt is to me. I wanna visit the pyramids. I look forward to walking through #Cairo’s Tahrir Square one day. Be safe. Feel me?
Now for the mundane stuff….
The station survived the weekend maintenance update. Sounds like the breaks between the tracks are nearly impossible to hear.
Yaaaaaaay!!
See, you folks who are listening for free have no idea how the station really sounds because you keep getting those stoopid commercials dropped on you right in the middle of the best parts of the mixes. Doncha hate that? Kinda frustrating isn’t it? Like those times when you are just about to get into or do something you really want/need to do and someone knocks at the door or calls you. P.I.T.A. right? Check this out. Try VIP mode for free listen to the station for a while. I guarantee you will see the point I’m trying to make.
During the down time..somehow..some way… 30 more hours of mixes were uploaded while the sets that were playing last week are GONE!(Okay, okay I left one up there…betcha can’t pick which one!)
Gee, wonder how that happened?
Click the widget to the right to see what I uploaded for your ears. Hopefully it will help you snow bunnies up there in the cold cold north slip through your day.
Check out the lyrics to WHOA! by Muthafunkaz. Cracks me up. One of the best arrangements I have heard in a while. Nicely done. (The mix I dropped them into ain’t too shabby either but who’s braggin’?)
This week is filled with the kind of music you don’t hear on those “other” stations. It’s about they get mixed in because they fit in. And some cuts were simply fit in. But that’s another story.
One quick note:
Before you tune in with your new fangled iPads and tablets check your data plans. If you’re near wi-fi, use that. Its better also word is out that a certain cell phone carrier who’s name makes one look to the horizon (c’mon that was witty as hell…no?) is considering throttling back heavy bandwidth users…which reminds me..it’s been time to switch!
