Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson are definitely a pair of the “unsung” who’ve crafted hits for a number of R&B, soul music artists over the past decades. The body of work created by these two reads better than Billboards charts anytime. The roster of artists who’ve been influenced and or propelled by their creations reads like a Who’s Who in Music.
