Yesterday I mentioned in a post that I would be adding 100 tracks for today. I was off by a little..its like 204.
The first set started at 1pm Eastern (US) and was prompted by me staring at my 3 basses thinking “I really need to play more”. I started thinking of the songs I used to play and that’s how I wound up with 200+ songs!
These sets add up to 25 hours of music. A little of this and that. From Afrobeat to Fusion with a liberal sprinklin of House all over. There’s R&B classics, Fusion favorites, some indie cuts and of course plenty of remixes in there. (Hurry! tune in NOW!)
The list of artists reads like a Who’s Who in the recording world. I have also included a cut where Stanley Clarke and Stuart Copeland (The Police) joined up. That’s part of a set where I feature songs with great bass lines. Some well known and some maybe not so well known. There is a rare Passport cut off of the Infinity Machine LP in there as well as classic Lil Louis and more.
Tune in, Turn it up and go do something fun (or let the groove help you get through the day).
I hope you enjoy it!
P.S.: That picture over there of the bass is not one of my basses. Mine are nicer looking! Hmmm maybe I’ll post a shot of them sometime….
Oh yeah one more thing. I’m trying to figure out what some of your are using to hear the music. Do me a HUGE favor and drop me a note. I want to see who listens at work or home or where ever and what are you using to tune in with (cell phone, Ipad, laptop, PC) . Thanks in advance, I really appreciate your help!
