The origins of the music is often unexpected as in “Wow… they’re from where?” Yes, you will hear music of the Diaspora and of those influenced by it as well. From Alpha Blondy to Zapp and so much more in between. That includes Indy Artists as well. Silently curated sets designed to let you do what it is you do accompanied by the best sounding music you’ll hear this day. Multi-genre and eclectic, the majority of sets includes alternate versions of favorite and memorable songs performed by both the original and other artists. For example, ever hear Luther Vandross sing McFadden & Whitehead’s “Ain’t no Stoppin’ Us Now”? Or, Earth, Wind & Fire doing a House music version of “Can’t Hide Love”? One thing to remember, don’t be surprised if you are to hear something you are surprised to hear when you hear it.
A word to the wise, use real speakers, headphones or earphones to listen if you can. There is no way on earth a cell phone speaker or tablet speaker can compete with the sound that comes out of a decent pair of headphones, speakers or even ear buds. The quality will be lost. You want something that faithfully reproduces the music so that you can listen and not simply hear the music. Music lovers know what’s meant by that! 😉
