That’s what bounced around the inside of my skull earlier today.
“What are you doing?”
Huh? I’m driving around in the crazy Tampa traffic. That’s what I was doing when the question floated up. The thought came right after the notion that there is absolutely no reason on this earth that a town this small should have such traffic congestion. It’s not like I’m on the BQE in NYC or stuck on 495 circling D.C. or sitting debating whether I should’ve taken 90 instead of 94 out of Chicago or which is quicker from Kearny Mesa during afternoon “rush” 805 or 15 to hit I-8 and head east…..
Then the question came…again:
“What are you doing?
Huh?
I’m sitting here blowing dollars out the quad exhaust of this car at the moment getting damn near zero miles per gallon (more like getting gallons per mile).
As traffic eased and I started to move the question kept repeating…”What are you doing?”
Whaat?!?
I’m moving, that’s what I’m doing. I’m motivating down the street!! Jeez….
I get in the drive way, I park the car, I head inside and I sit down and stare at the mixer and yet again…
“What are you doing?”
Rolling my eyes…I heaved out a sigh and thought… “I’m going to go ahead and upload the latest set right now…satisfied? Jeeez….Come to think of it, I gotta do that internet radio station clean-up routine too!”
I see that we have some new listeners out there. Cool!
