“DJ Whatshisname” (often stylized with a question mark as “DJ Whatshisname?”) is the creator and primary curator of “WBPM NetRADIO”.
I try to maintain a low-profile, a “faceless” persona, focusing the brand entirely on the music—specifically my “Sonic Soul Food” mixes. This deliberate anonymity is why there are no widely published or indexed personal photos of me. (ed. note: Bwah-hah-hah-haaaahhh!!!!)
I serve as the station’s lead DJ and programmer, blending diverse genres including #Soulful House, #Jazz, #Funk, #Global Grooves and #R&B.
The Philosophy: My work is centered on the idea that the music should speak for itself. Hence, I often use fragmented phrases and “themed” set titles (like the “Levels” series) to guide your listening experience and provide food for thoughts about the topics of our days.
